“A very comfortable cottage in an ideal location for lots of days out. The White Swan pub was very family friendly. Our grandchildren particularly enjoyed the steam train to Whitby, as we did too. We have made several visits to this lovely part of Yorkshire and it never lets us down.  ”
“An interesting, comfortable property in the centre of great walking area. Lovely cosy place to spend a day in, but also a quick easy drive to Pickering and onwards. The owner has given a lot of thought and attention to making the cottage work for guests. We enjoyed the log burner which was easy to get going. The utility area was great for bikes and muddy boots, and the village is very scenic for little strolls.”
“Dairy House had a cosy, homely feel to it and is in such a lovely setting. The children enjoyed feeding the ducks on the green and loved the play area just down the road. The grown-ups very much appreciated the bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival and taking in the beautiful scenery.”
“Ideally located for York, the east coast resorts , North Yorkshire moors and The Yorkshire Dales. Very comfortable with a very friendly pub almost next door. Both my wife and I, together with our family from Western Australia, feel we made a good choice!”
“The cottage is spacious and well appointed. It is in a peaceful location adjoining a farm. The village is a few miles from a town so a car is essential. A good venue for walking and for touring by car. Would I recommend this holiday rental to my best friend? Absolutely!”
“Loved where it was situated. Lovely friendly country pub just down the road. A very cosy cottage. Large kitchen to eat in. It was all very clean and a very pretty place. Much impressed.”
“The Dairy House was wonderful with everything you could possibly need for a most comfortable stay in the picturesque little village of Newton on Rawcliffe.”
“Lovely quiet location with comfortable rooms and a good friendly pub close by. The walking and scenery was spectacular. Loved the steam railway with the old fashioned stations. York was a good day out there was so much history to see and Whitby was fun especially if you like fish n chips. The local ales were all tasted most more than once. What a great holiday I will be back.”
